Developed with special respect to the requirements of modern helicopter rescue operations. The 10-Point suspension guaranties a perfectly even distribution of the weight of the injured. Especially the head- and foot areas are stabilized as they are held even by the outermost suspensionpoints. During the construction special attention was directed to wind- resistance and -flow in order to minimize the tendency to rotate in downwash.
Manufactured from high strength, water- and
wind resistant Perlon-PES fibre. This highquality material guarantees
comfortable handling, does not get stiff even at very cold temperatures and
is extremely durable.
The large area velcroclosing on the whole length
allows quick and thight closing around the injured, with or without a splint.
It is resistant against icing and therefore allows safe closing under all
weather conditions. Thus, the wind-flow inside the bag is minimized and the
air-resistance of the bag keeps constant over its full area. Additionally,
the injured can be stabilized with four fixation belts.
Head - section protected with foldable foam pads on the sides and the top end protect the head of the injured. The stiffened head opening protects the injured from all windinfluences.
The unique Diagonal-belt weight bearing system supports the injured over the whole bottom area of the bag and ensures safety factor of over 10 as it is sewn endlessy and made from rottingfree, high strength PES-belts. The underside is equipted with Spike-stripes to prevent the bag from slipping on snow, ice, etc.
Storage Bag for the Vacuumpump in the foot area with additional space for stiffnecks etc. Small storage bags at the side for the fixation belts and the suspension.
Suspension: The five suspension ropes of each side are sewn into an anchoring plate. Due to this, the suspension -ropes are always in order, no rope can be forgotten when prepairing for the hoist and no twisting of the ropes can occur. Also, this enables the suspension to be shorter and side- and length pressure are reduced. Standard suspension length: appr. 850 mm.
Suspensions can be individually manufactuered in lenthes between 750 mm - 2000 mm.
