The absolutely horizontal bedding area for the injured is made from extra-light but extremely impact-resistant Aluminum sandwich-material, covered with shock-absorbing foam. It is 2000 mm long, the width is 500 mm in the hip, 530 mm in the shoulder and 380 mm in the head- and foot area, providing enough space even for tall patients. It allows unrestricted use of a vacuum-matress.
Four fixation belts with quick-locks hold the injured safe in every situation.

The four handles can be quickly and indivdually adjusted in 12 different positions to adapt to different carrying situations. For transport reasons, the handles can be fully removed (for a more equal distribution of the carrying loads) and the mountain stretcher can be quickly divided in the middle with camlock quick locks.

The mountain stretcher light comes complete with wheel and wheel struts, fixation belts and adjusted suspension belts for ropeing up and down.

The high strength 20 inchsteel - wheel is equipped with Shimano®´s new Nexave Roll brake. It provides optimum brakeing efficiency at very little power - demand and easy handling.
The wheel is inserted into the normal wheel struts (which only get a counterfort to take up the brake momentum), no adjustments necessary.
